If you are not a registered member of Immaculate Conception Parish, we ask that you register or receive approval from the Pastor. Parents should support the parish with their time, talents and treasure. Parents should be practicing their faith in the workplace, in their home and in civic life. If parents are married, it should be recognized by the Roman Catholic Church. Parents are required to attend a 1-hour Baptism class. The class is offered the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm in the Holy Name room. Children are welcome to attend with parents. Baptisms can be scheduled during any of the weekend Masses, after the 5pm Masses on Saturday and Sunday and after the 10:30am Mass on Sundays. Baptism outside of these times need to be approved by the Pastor. He/she must be baptized in another Christian denomination, must be 16 years of age, and must be attending his/her own worship service on a regular basis. His/her name will be recorded in the parish baptismal registry and on the baptismal certificate. ALL Godparent/Christian Witness are asked to provide a letter from their Pastor that states they are a member in good standing. *This includes parishioners of Immaculate Conception If you would like to have a visiting Priest or Deacon perform the baptism, they must first contact the rectory office (573-635-6143) and speak to the pastor for permission.
