Stewardship: Spiritual Commitment for 2024 Form
Name
(Required)

Discipleship calls us to more than membership; it calls us to active stewardship.
We need every family’s active stewardship to support all the ministries of our beautiful parish.
What does stewardship ask of all members of the parish?
Commitment to pray: That is, actively and regularly attend Mass on weekends and Holy days of Obligation.
Commitment to participate: That is, offer their talents and a portion of their time to serve the parish community and be a part of its fellowship and opportunities for ongoing Christian formation.
Commitment to sacrificially give: That is, generously and proportionately pledge a portion of the “first fruits” of material treasure to support the operation and ministry of the parish church. The goal for Christians is the Biblical tithe (10%) and all are called to strive toward that goal.
In addition, we ask you to consider a commitment to:
(Required)
Attend weekday Mass at least once a week
Spend 1 hour a week before the Blessed Sacrament
Spend 15 min. a day in personal prayer
Invite a friend or acquaintance to Mass
Pray together as a family
Discuss the Catholic faith with my children
Read the Bible for one hour a week
Pray the rosary at least once a week
Go to confession at least every other month
Spend extra time with my spouse each day
Be responsible citizen in the light of my faith
We God’s people of Immaculate Conception seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ:
– Worshipping God in prayer, Eucharist and Sacraments
– Forming and strengthening our faith community
– Educating children in our faith Tradition
– Welcoming all serving others and work for peace and justice
– Growing continually as disciples of Christ
Provide any other Stewardship commitments.
Gifts of Treasure for 2024 Financially Supporting Our Parish Community
As we make our gifts available to God, each household at Immaculate Conception is asked to work toward giving a specific percentage of your income based on the 10% Biblical tithe. Your tithe is recommended to be 8% to Immaculate Conception Parish and 2% to charity of your choice. (Example: Annual Income of $50,000 = $77 as a weekly gift of 8%)
