Councils

"Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord." - Romans 12:11

Pastoral
Council

Our parish pastoral council is an advisory body elected from the parish at large. Members share and work with the Pastor in the parish decision making process.

Parish Pastoral Council members are represented on each of four commissions which include Administration, Worship, Christian Education/Spiritual Formation and Social Concerns providing input and bringing commission concerns to the Parish Pastoral Council.

See our Parish Council page for more.

Finance
Council

The Finance Council is a leadership body that supports the pastor in planning for the financial needs of the parish mission-focused plan and vision.  The pastor appoints the members of the Finance Commission, and relies on their financial expertise and recommendations. It consists of six at-large members, and three ex-officio members (the pastor, parish accountant and school principal).

Stewardship
Council

Stewardship Council is the leadership body that works with the pastor to call forth parishoners’ tithing of their gifts of time, talent and treasure in order to meet the parish’s mission-focused plan and vision.  Annually all parishioners are invited to complete a stewardship form indicating ways in which they would like to be involved for the first time or continue to serve, as well as provide their commitment to share financially in the support of the parish.

Four Pillars of Stewardship provide the framework of support for the life of the parish: Hospitality, Prayer, Formation and Service.  Following is a description of ministries organized by these pillars.

School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council is established to assist the pastor, school administrator/principal, parish council, and finance council in fostering the education mission, goals and objectives of the Catholic school. It helps formulate and recommend policy and is consultative to both the pastor and the school administrator/principal. The Immaculate Conception School Advisory Council consists of the pastor, principal, assistant principal, home & school association president, and six members elected from the home & school association and the parish council. It is a policy-forming body for the school, functioning in an advisory capacity. Meetings are held monthly.   Contact our school if you would like to be a candidate or contact school office with questions.
