Pillar of Prayer
There are many opportunities to join our parish in various forms of prayer.
Worship Commission members plan the various liturgical seasons and prayer opportunities for our parish.

Adult Choir is open to any parishioner who is interested in singing in 2-5 part harmonies. The choir usually ministers at Mass twice a month, as well as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter Vigil, and any special parish activities. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings 7:00-8:30 pm in the choir loft. Instrumental musicians are also welcome to join this group.

Art and Environment Committee members arrange the sanctuary and entire worship space to correspond with and enhance the liturgical seasons and celebrations.

AV Team is responsible for livestreaming weekend Masses online to reach and include our parishioners who are unable to attend church in person. New volunteers with some computer experience/knowledge are welcomed and training is provided.

Centering Prayer meets every Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the lower level of the parish rectory. All are welcome. If you’ve not had an introduction to this prayer, Fr. Matt will teach the method.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet, led by several parishioners, is prayed every Monday at 7:15 a.m. in church, remembering God’s Divine Mercy to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
E-Prayer Line receives prayer requests for the various needs through e-mail.

Eucharistic Adoration involves taking one hour a week to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is entrusted with the special responsibility of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass

Organist, pianist, guitarists and other musicians are needed for weekend Masses as well as weddings and funerals to help enhance liturgical celebrations.
Small group vocalists are scheduled every-other month and practice before Mass. You may join an existing group or new groups will be formed as people show interest.
Song leader/cantor is a leader of sung prayer. Cantors lead the responsorial psalm, as well as other sung prayers.
Substitute Music Minister helps out when someone cannot commit to a full month’s schedule. Indicate if you are a vocalist or instrumentalist.

Rosary for Priests/Future Priests is prayed the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the church.

Sacristan sets up the necessary items before Mass, assists the priest with any necessary tasks, and helps clean up after Mass.

Seven Sisters and Fasting Brothers are two ministries to help strengthen the church by praying or fasting for a particular priest. Seven women make up a group, one for each day of the week, and commit to spend one Holy Hour a week to pray for a particular priest. Six men make up a group, one for each day of the week (except Sunday), and commit to fast one day of the week as a form of prayer for a particular priest.

Young Adult Ensemble is for those in grades 8 through college-age, eager to share their love of Jesus and their gift of music. They minister twice per month at weekend Masses. Vocalists and instrumentalists are needed.
