Whether administrative or social, seasonal or year-round, IC has numerous service opportunities.
Administration Commission is comprised of those interested in the finances, long range planning, stewardship, and building maintenance of our parish facilities.

AA/Al Anon meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Immaculate Conception. The Wednesday meetings are listed as closed which means they are offered for 12-step program members only. An open 11th Step AA meeting is held every Saturday at 11:00 am and all are welcome. Meetings are held in the lower level of the parish rectory.

Blood Drive, sponsored by the Social Concerns Commission and coordinated by the American Red Cross, is held two times per year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Volunteers help with set-up and serving of refreshments after blood donations.

Divine Dusters take a turn cleaning the church. Names and month for cleaning are published in the parish’s weekly bulletin.

Dream Team volunteers help on Tuesdays with general parish maintenance of the physical plant doing clean up, painting, electrical, etc.

Giving Tree volunteers help organize and sort the Christmas gifts donated by IC parishioners for pick up by families in need who have registered with the Samaritan Center.

Holy Name Society welcomes all men 18 and older of the parish. They meet monthly on the 2nd Monday at 7:00 am in Pleus Hall except the summer months of June, July, and August. They host two breakfasts the 1st Sunday in March and November for the parish, in addition to a November Turkey Raffle the Monday before Thanksgiving.

The Mustard Seed Outreach support an ongoing rummage sale located in the McCarty Plaza (the former Save-a-Lot space). Volunteers receive and organize donated items and staff the sale days. Parishioners also participate by donating items that are new/gently used. The proceeds are used for our parish, primarily to supplement fees/tuition for school children whose families need assistance. Stay updated on social media for donation dates, types of donations accepted, and dates/hours of operation.

Care for Creation Team educates and inspires the IC parish and school to act faithfully in caring for God's creation by sharing readings and reflections, instilling hope and motivating action as stewards of creation through parish programs and school activities.

IC Pillars volunteers help serve and clean up for the luncheons after quarterly anointing Masses.

Immaculata Club welcomes all ladies of the parish to join an existing chapter, form a new chapter of parish friends, or to be a member-at-large. We meet for Catholic fellowship, social activity, spirituality and service. Our service projects help to support our parish and school through our spirituality and fundraising activities.

Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund is a permanent fund managed exclusively to provide annual income directly for the IC Parish budget. Please consider the IC Endowment Fund when making decisions regarding memorials for deceased loved ones and in estate planning, bequests, and donations.

Knights of Columbus is a men’s fraternal organization serving Immaculate Conception and local organizations using the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Catholic men 18 and over are eligible to join.

Maintenance/Facilities: Asphalt/concrete, carpentry, electrical, mechanics, painting, plumbing skills are occasionally needed in the parish.

Parish Archive volunteers maintain files to document the history of the parish happenings.

Parish Nurse volunteers promote healing of body, mind, and spirit by acting as educators, advocates, facilitators and liaisons to community resources and support persons for parishioners and families.

Repairers of the Breech volunteers seek to offer a loving and effective response to those who approach our parish in crisis. We do this as disciples of Jesus Christ, providing timely assistance and / or appropriate information, referral, and follow-up to see that their needs are addressed.

Caring with Cards members meet once a month to upcycle/create greeting cards for parishioners such as homebound and new members and to pray for each recipient. This ministry aims to keep these parishioners connected and let them know they are valued in our faith community.

This group is for women and men willing to help one of our many parish groups to write and print letters, stuff envelopes, provide graphic design/digital layout skills, help to create flyers and logos, etc. We must all be good Stewards and the many parish groups and organization often time need help to fulfill their varied mission. We are better together!

Quilting members enjoy sharing the skill of quilting, meeting every Monday to quilt and for the fellowship. Quilts are donated for fundraisers within the parish as well as for requests within the community.

Servers assist the priest during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Any student who has completed fourth grade may train to serve.

St. Ann’s Sodality promotes fellowship with Catholic women in the parish and community. They meet monthly for a potluck luncheon and business meeting. Afterwards the members play bingo and visit with friends. They have various service projects throughout the year. They meet the first Thursday of every month.

St. Michael Security Ministry volunteers develop plans and provide training to address facility security concerns.

Visioning Committee is a group of parishioners working to ensure a plan for the future of our parish and campus. This committee has worked since early 2020 to assess the current facilities to address the safety and accessibility for all parishioners, students, faculty, and visitors. They continue to explore the vision and feasibility of potential extensive renovation, addition, or new construction of some facilities.

School volunteers help at our parish school in various ways as needed.

The School Advisory Council is established to assist the Pastor, School Administrator/Principal, parish council, and finance council in fostering the education mission, goals, and objectives of the Catholic school. It helps formulate and recommend policy and is consultative to both the Pastor and the School Admistrator/Principal. The IC School Advisory Council consists of the Pastor, Principal, Assistant Principal, Home and School Association president, and six elected members. It is a policy-forming body for the school, functioning in an advisory capacity. Meetings are held monthly.
Home and School Association is a supporting organization of parents and teachers for Immaculate Conception School. Members work to raise funds for the improvement of the school and provide assistance in many needed ways.
